The marvellous website of Princeton University´s Graphic Arts collection has a new entry about two rare  satirical Locomotion-prints of Shortshanks. Shortshanks was a pseudonym for Robert Seymour (1798-1836). Despite his timely death this versatile and punchy British caricaturist became one of the most influential illustrators.
